It was great to spend time with the volunteers at Compassionate Inverclyde yesterday and learn about all the work they do. Their work really captures the generosity and kindness of people in Inverclyde.
They are run by volunteers and rely on donations from individuals and local organisations for the back home boxes which are given to people being discharged from hospital.
I also met some of the volunteers from the No One Dies Alone (NODA) project which accompanies people in their last days and hours.
They are always looking for donations, so if you are able to please consider dropping off some supplies. The full list of what’s needed is on their Facebook page.
